When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address — nothing else from your Google account.
Everything you enter in the app — transactions, categories, payment methods, loans, recurring payments, settlements, savings goals — is data you explicitly provide.
We store a basic preference (dark/light mode) on your device only.
We never ask for or store your bank credentials, UPI PINs, OTPs, or actual bank account numbers.
We do not connect to your bank, UPI, or any financial institution.
We do not use third-party tracking, analytics cookies, or advertising SDKs.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone.
Your data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS, Singapore region).
Every row in the database is protected by Row Level Security (RLS) — only you can read or write your own data.
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest.
Your Google OAuth token is managed by Supabase Auth and never stored in our application code.
Only you. Our RLS policies ensure that even our own backend cannot read your personal financial data without your user session.
We may access aggregated, anonymised usage metrics (like total user count) via a separate admin dashboard — but never individual financial records.
You can delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Delete My Account.
This permanently removes all your transactions, categories, payment methods, credit limits, settlements, recurring payments, loans, savings, and user preferences.
Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
You may also request data deletion by emailing us at the contact address below.
You can export all your transaction data as a CSV file from Settings → Export CSV at any time.
Your data belongs to you. We are a tool, not a data company.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to access, correct, and erase your personal data.
We process your data solely for the purpose of providing the MeraPaisa expense tracking service — no secondary use.
We do not process data of minors (users under 18). If we learn that a minor has created an account, we will delete it immediately.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top will always reflect the latest revision.
Continued use of MeraPaisa after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
